Twenty-One Years at Tirroan Hotel. Where has the time gone?

Twenty-one years behind the bar,
Pouring beers and raising jars.
I arrived here at thirty-two,
Never dreaming what I’d grow into.

“I won’t be here that long,” I’d say,
Yet somehow the years just slipped away.
Through laughter, tears, and stories shared,
With people who truly showed they cared.

I’ve met characters, one of a kind,
Each leaving memories etched in my mind.
Enough stories to fill a book,
If only someone cared to look.

My children grew with this place too,
Their childhood woven in every view.
More than a pub, more than a name,
It became my home—it’ll never be the same.

So here’s to Tirroan, through thick and thin,
For all that’s been and all that’s been within.
Twenty-one years, what a remarkable ride—
Forever a place I’ll hold with pride.
