Its with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that the Burger Bar has cooked and served our final burger in Thredbo.

Steve, Leanne and Karen would like to thank the thousands of amazing customers over the past 9 and a half years who have made this business the memory that it is – it has been a magnificent journey truly shaped by you, our loyal customers. Equally we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our staff who have taken the journey with us.

No business functions without great suppliers and in stating that we would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our loyal suppliers who have done a fantastic job in keeping our customers fed through all weather conditions during both summers and winters.

We are looking forward to some downtime over the coming summer months and trust that we will have the opportunity to see you all again during your next holiday in the magnificent Snowy Mountains.

We have enjoyed the friendships made and the memories of watching so many family members grow from children into adults.

Thank you once again for making our Burger Bar the restaurant of choice for so many of you all when visiting Thredbo.

Work in Thredbo This Winter
We are currently seeking suitably qualified applicants to work in our busy evening restaurant for the upcoming Winter season (mid-June – September).
We are a fast paced fully licenced restaurant seating 70 patrons open 7 nights per week.

We are currently recruiting for all of the below positions:
• Cooks
• Dish hands / kitchen hand
• Food and beverage attendants

All positions allow for plenty of time to play in the snow.
Skills and Experience

• All wait and bar staff must have a current NSW RSA certificate
• Kitchen hands should be experienced.
• Applicants who hold a current holiday working visa and have previous experience working in snow fields.
• All applicants must be enthusiastic, hardworking, and reliable.

As the owners work daily in the business, you'll be working in a team environment and display a willingness to succeed and support fellow team members. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fun environment where you can meet people from all over the world.

• Accommodation is available at staff rates to selected applicants.
• Opportunity to meet and work with new people - get paid while enjoying the slopes.
• Enjoy sweeping mountain views and comfortable accommodation.

Successful applicants must be committed to working the whole ski season; this is fixed term employment opportunity.
