…….APPRECIATION POST……..

ACA had a story regarding cafes requesting cash payments last night due to small businesses now having to pay the surcharge when customers use their bank cards.
Rodney and I would like to thank those of you who pay cash on a daily basis for your coffee. We really appreciate it!!!!
We have noticed a significant increase since October 1st - 12% of customers were using cash on a daily basis and now 25% of you are 💰👏🙌💰
Some coffee shops have increased their coffees by the surcharge amount…..so a $5 coffee is now $5.07, others have increased all their items slightly……..we are holding off until the end of the year to give people a chance to manage the way they use cash/card when supporting local small businesses.
We will re-evaluate our prices in 2027.
***we wont go cash only and will always accept card payments regardless, as we do appreciate each and every sale***

Thankyou 👏👏👏👏

A great surprise this afternoon!!!
A sign has been erected at the roundabout in Thornton (where Government road intersects Thomas Coke Drive) with an arrow pointing in the direction of Thornton Shopping Centre. This is a great advertisement for our little cafe and the many other little businesses within the centre.
With all the detours in place atm it directs people (who are after a great coffee or some delicious food) …..our way.
A huge Thankyou to Mayor Philip Penfold
We are very appreciative 🙌👏
