German born and bred, Thomas has a passion for rustic old Kombis and all things food and gardening. So naturally, he found himself one day combining these passions and started building a food truck...
“I thought it was time to start my own project. I love the food truck scene in Melbourne, have tried nearly every burger around, and already owned a Kombi so I figured, why not?! I got the idea to build a trailer to solve the problem of minimal Kombi space- and now I have one and a half unique-looking Kombis, all fitted out and ready to sell some bloody lecker burgers!!”
Thomas loves getting his hands dirty in two ways- working on his Kombis and tending to his veggie garden. He also loves to wrap his hands around a big juicy delicious burger, so I guess that makes three things. He has spent the last couple of years patiently, lovingly building each and every detail of his Kombi and trailer which make up Kombi Burger. Some say he’s a genius, some say he’s an idiot, either way he will continue to turn heads as he cruises along in his burger branded beast. Let the burger and salad-eating begin.
