Every old pub deserves a little care now and then.

From 13–29 July, our accommodation will be taking a short pause while we complete a few improvements behind the scenes.

Our rooms will reopen from 30 July, ready to welcome travelers, weekend wanderers and locals looking for a staycation.

While our hotel takes a short break, the bar is open as usual for a pint and a meal.

From 10 August, we'll be closing our Upstairs Restaurant while we give our upstairs bar a well-earned refresh. The result? Even smoother beers, crisper pours, and a fresh new look.

We'll be back from 26 August, but until then, our downstairs pub is open as usual with plenty of tables waiting for you.
