👨‍🍳 NOW HIRING – QUALIFIED CHEF 👩‍🍳

Settlers Tavern is looking for a qualified chef to join our kitchen team.

The role
• Casual – approx. 30 hours per week
• Opportunity to move into a full-time position
• Dinner service only – no breakfasts or lunches!
• Prep + dinner service
• Small, friendly kitchen team
• Generally home by around 9pm
• Good hours and a pretty cruisey gig for the right person

About you
We’re looking for someone who:
• Is a qualified chef and confident working independently when needed
• Is reliable
• Is a team player and gets along well with others
• Takes pride in their food and their workspace
• Works within food safety, workplace health & safety and venue policies
• Can keep their cool during a busy service
• Has pub/bistro experience ideally – but it’s not essential

We’re a busy little country pub with a good crew, straightforward food and a kitchen that doesn’t require you to sacrifice your entire life to work in it.

We’ve got zero tolerance for rude, aggressive or offensive behaviour — towards staff or anyone else in the pub.
