We’re a licensed coffee shop located opposite the Tascott Railway Station carpark. Coffee, drinks, sweets and food that goes with drinks. Slow food, in house. We’re licensed from 10am. Get together coming up? We'll ease your burden with fresh batches of cocktails and house made dips and salads. Ask us about what we're cooking for family sized meals. Need to bring a plate f

or school or work? We'll bake you sweets in larger quantities. Do you have a venue of your own? We can provide batches of fresh cocktails ready to shake or pour. Or a slab of our famous bread and butter pudding, brownies and cakes. Go to the website and ask to be on a list. ABOUT KOEKSISTERS
1. Koeksisters are cinnamon yeast doughnuts that are served hot in a sugar syrup, sprinkled with coconut.
2. Koeksisters are potato sized and shaped.
3. Koeksisters are a Cape Town weekend morning tradition, eaten hot with coffee or tea.
4. Eat them hot. And they are hot, as only hot sugar can be.
5. Traditionally, a serve is two, but if you're on a diet, we'll also do one.

Creamy chicken potato soup has clearly passed the Sue test today, three times! 😳 🤣🤣

Have a bowl, a cup or as a side with a jaffle. Would recommend coming in soon before Sue makes an Olympic sport out of it.

How do we serve creamy dips?
This afternoon we're hosting our community at Italiano Time. Hungry Wolf's will be serving pizzas, we'll be mixing Italian inspired cocktails and we'll also have our house made dips of skordalia and labne.

This is how we'll be serving them today but our customers come up with amazingly creative toppings. What's your favourite way to serve creamy dips?

Have you tried skordalia? We make it, eat it and love it but can we say it? Lovely Helen helps us with Greek pronunciation of, "Skordalia," every week.

Skordalia is a Greek dip of potatoes, garlic, almonds and lemon. It's creaminess is more than the sum of its parts. We're obsessed. Sue uses it as a pasta sauce and chicken marinade.

Skordalia is vegan friendly which is difficult for a creamy dip.

These are our apple muffins. We call them Apple Pie Muffins because it's a combo of our vanilla muffin batter and house made pink lady apple pie filling. The top is sprinkled with cinnamon. These are good for our vegan friends, too. We'd love to see you!

Next Saturday 23 May 2026 is Italiano Time. We're excited to be serving one of our favourite cocktails, Frangelina. Spiced rum, Frangelico hazelnut liqueur and lime. Sunshine in a glass!
