Well… we’re a bit blown away to be honest. 🥹💙

Thanks to all of you legends who took the time to nominate JD’s for the MidCoast Business Awards People’s Choice Award, we’ve officially made the Top 50 Finalists!

For a little family-run takeaway in Kolodong, that’s pretty bloody special.

When we bought what is now, JD’s, we simply wanted to create a place where locals could grab a good feed, a hot coffee and have a yarn. We never imagined we’d receive the support that this community has shown us over the past year.

This recognition belongs just as much to you as it does to us. Every coffee purchased, every lunch special sold, every social media share, every recommendation to a mate and every friendly face that walks through our door has helped get us here.

The bad news… Jess’ operation was postponed today due to emergencies at JHH, so unfortunately it ended up being a very early start and a whole lot of travelling for not much 😩

The good news… you’ll be stuck with us again tomorrow! 😂

We’ll be back in the shop from 5am, slinging coffees, having a yarn and keeping you lot fed.
