OCTOBER is small business month in NSW. Every day we make a choice as consumers about who we support and where we shop!

I was asked recently about why small, medium and family enterprises are so important in this country! Hopefully I’ve answered the question? … with 28 skittles! 🍬💪

There’s a lot of community heavy lifting going on by smaller businesses in this country! This October go the extra mile and support us so we can continue to support the communities around us!

I’m always amazed at how few large National and International corporations ever involve themselves in community initiatives, community fundraising and local sport particularly. It’s what makes Australia who we are! If you need proof of who is supporting your community… just look at the logos on any kids sporting gear when they walk past and you have your answer!

Thank you and community for helping raise funds to help our local Sam Pratt get home.
Over $4200 was raised a few weeks ago and we were pleased to present the funds to Sam’s mum this week.
A big shout out to In The Cove | Lane Cove News Lane Cove Swim Club and family and friends of the Pratt family for making the event a huge success. We hope you are home soon Sam and look forward to seeing you instore soon.

A huge congratulations to Padam on receiving an Excellent Customer Service Award, after being nominated by his manager for the outstanding care he shows our customers every day. 👏☕️
If you know our Lane Cove store, you probably know Padam. Customers love him so much that when he spots regulars crossing the road, he’s already making their coffee before they even walk through the door. At this point, some people are convinced he can read minds. 😂
One customer recently injured his arm, so Padam carried his coffee out to the car for him. The customer later came back and said, “That man is the best.”
It’s acts of kindness like these, combined with his genuine care for every customer, that make Padam such a valued part of our team and our Lane Cove community.
Congratulations, Padam – this award is incredibly well deserved! 🎉🙌
