What a week.
We want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in the fires both local and from afar. What a beautiful community that we get to call home. To all of the families affected by the fires we are thinking of you and the long recovery ahead.
We decided to donate free coffee to all volunteers helping with the fires, and free meals and coffee to any families affected by the fires. Our way to say thank you for the tireless hours everyone is putting in, going above and beyond to help our community stay safe. What started as our donations has now grown to donations from the community to help out as well. To all the Men and Women fighting the fires or volunteering in other ways yes a free coffee is nice but we see that it is the appreciation of their tireless work not going unnoticed that makes the most difference.
We are also very grateful to a generous customer who has paid forward a large amount of money to go towards anyone affected by the fires particularly in the Bullioh and Tallangatta Valley area. Please come in and don't be afraid to ask, grab a coffee or some lunch, catch up with others and take some stress away even if it's just for an hour.
Any money leftover will be donated directly to the local CFA Groups and SES.
