Last week before we take a short break over the winter. We are open Friday through Sunday 10am to 3pm for breakfast, brunch, lunch and snacks. Shop local and pick up some of your favourite honey, jams, brittle, olives and more. We’ll be trying our new breakfast focaccia with fried eggs, ham and béchamel sauce.

Lily has been baking her famous cakes including chocolate gluten free cake, lemon tarts, cheese cake and scones. Share with a friend or indulge all by yourself.

Takeaway
You can now takeaway our nourishing golden soup, packed with cauliflower, carrots, cashews and a touch of spice. Vegan friendly, delicious and creamy, ready to warm your soul. Choose sourdough toast or fennel and rosemary croutons.

Add one of our toasties with sourdough, Long Paddock Cheese and Kitchen Charcuterie ham or sausage. Meat free lovers can enjoy our homemade butter pickles. Supporting our local artisanal producers and farmers.

We will finish up after the Sunday Farmers Market and return all refreshed on Friday 14 August with some changes to be announced soon.

As winter's chill begins to envelop us, we're warming up the indoors for those brave souls ready to face the cold. Despite the frost, we did catch some glorious sunshine on the balcony last weekend. Don't miss your chance to stock up on the good stuff - we've got just two weeks left before our brief hiatus for some much-needed TLC and a refreshing revamp. Catch us Friday through Sunday, 10am to 3pm, until we close our doors after the upcoming Farmers Market. We'll be back, brighter than ever, the week of the August Farmers Market - mark your calendars for Friday, 14 August, as we reopen our doors. From Friday, 24 July, we'll be taking a short break until then. Meanwhile, indulge in our freshly baked homemade Focaccia, available by the loaf or half loaf - simply place your order for a full loaf. Savor the flavors of rosemary, baby tomatoes, or olives, expertly paired with every bite. Priced at $10 for a full loaf and $5 for a half, it's an unbeatable treat. Here's to warmer days ahead and a huge thank you to our incredible community of supporters and customers for being part of our journey. We support local artisanal producers and makers.

The sun is shining in our tiny town in Talbot. We are open for lunch today until 3pm. Open Fridays through Sunday 10am - 3pm. Try our new homemade focaccia with crumbed chicken, avocado and slaw. Delicious! Need a gift for your foodie/cook friend. We have jams, chutneys m, honey, vinegars and specialty oils, all from regional artisanal producers.

Talbot Farmers Market is on today., Sunday 21 June. While you are there, visit Fossickers Fine Food and Eatery in old London House for a local experience. You can buy products from regional producers and stop for breakfast, coffee or maybe stay after the market for lunch. Warm toasties, continental breakfast with cheese,ham, sourdough, eggs and condiments all from local artisan producers. Get a taste of the country in our tiny town and enjoy our community garden. Fossickers Update.

Thank you to all those who visited us on Mothers Day, it was a glorious day on the garden balcony.

*This Friday 15 May, we will be closed * Apologies for the inconvenience, however we will be opening again on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17, celebrating International Bee Day with the Talbot Farmers' Market .

We’re serving up a delicious range of honey-inspired specials, perfect to grab and enjoy while wandering the market — including our popcorn honey fried chicken and a rich honey and peanut butter smoothie.

Inside the store, you’ll also find beautiful local products celebrating the magic of bees, including local honey from Enbom Honey, hand turned wooden honey dippers and hand-poured pure beeswax candles made without fillers or fragrances — simply showcasing the warm, natural qualities of real beeswax.

We are open Anzac Day for breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks and coffee. We will be open Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday with a traditional lamb roast special, handmade chocolate truffles, hot cross buns, battered barramundi and shoestring fries plus our brunch, breakfast with freshly made watermelon juice and French omelettes. Bring your family and friends for a relaxing meal in our tiny heritage town overlooking the lush community garden. Bookings appreciated.

For those who don’t know, that’s 10 minutes up the road from Clunes, 10 minutes from Maryborough, 45 minutes from Ballarat and 2 hours from Melbourne.

You can take the train from Melbourne, Maryborough, Clunes or Ballarat making it very affordable with the free train travel this month. Only limited runs though. A short 5 minute walk from the train station.
