The best sauce was never a recipe, it is a feeling in the hands.

On thetodayshow, Matteo gave his away. Quality tomato, a pinch of salt, and you crush it by hand.

Put the blender away 😉 Blending shreds the seeds and turns the whole thing bitter.

Sylvia Jeffreys and Tom Steinfort showed us how it’s meant to be eaten, with both hands, no hesitation, and a glorious mess.
