Jin has been part of Primary almost since the beginning, we’ve grown together, learned together, and shared countless coffees.

From day one to now, thank you for everything you’ve put into this place. It wouldn’t be what it is without you.

Now it’s time for a new chapter

Primary Coffee started in 2017.
From day one, we had one simple goal.

To source, roast, and brew the coffee we love to drink,
and share it with good people.

A lot of people still don’t realise we’re a roasting company.
coffee has been our home for the past 9 years
a shared roastery that gave us the space to grow,
from a small 5kg roaster to the 70kg we run today.

Now, we’re stepping away from ECRE
and starting a new chapter in a space of our own.

Same machine.
Same people.

This special Gesha nanolot comes from the stunning Las Alasitas, a small, picturesque farm owned by Pedro Rodríguez. ​Over the last decade, under the banner of Agricafe, Pedro and his family have worked tirelessly to build the production of and market for Bolivian specialty coffee, helping hundreds of local farmers recognise and realise the potential of their land and crops.

This traditional washed process allows the varietal to shine with clarity, elegance and floral complexity. In a world of increasingly experimental processing, this coffee is a quiet reminder of the beauty of a classic washed Geisha.
