What you’ve been cooking lately 🤍

A little inspiration from your kitchens:

JORDAN PIE / NUTRITIONIST with eggs on toast and plenty of GOOD FAT Aioli.

Kate with beef + veggie kofta topped with GOOD FAT Aioli, plus mackerel on toast with lashings of the good stuff.

Following the Joy | Home • Garden • Food making crispy chicken pesto toasties.

The Nourished Mama with a seriously good tuna dip.

Our foodie mate Raina Patel with potato rosti + scrambled eggs, topped with GOOD OIL Crispy Chilli Oil.

One-tray bakes by the queen of flavour herself, Elizabeth Hewson 🍝.

Michelle Schimanski keeping it classic with chicken schnitty + plenty of GOOD FAT Mayo.

And Maddy Trueman with a broth-loaded congee.

Hope that serves up a little inspiration for your own kitchen this week 👌

We could talk about broth all day, every day, and for good reason…

GOOD BONES = slow-simmered, collagen-rich, main character energy.

We all have that one condiment we just can’t quit.

For a lot of us… it’s chilli oil (because it’s just so damn good!).🔥

The problem? Most jars are packed with seed oils and a long list of ingredients we’d rather leave on the shelf.

So we made one that isn’t.

Made with extra virgin olive oil, real chilli and the good stuff only. No seed oils. No fillers. No unnecessary extras. Just the flavour you keep reaching for, without the one thing you were trying to avoid.

Consider your one seed oil vice officially sorted. 🌶️

This is possibly the wobbliest, most delicious thing you can whip up with two eggs and a little broth…! 🙌

Haven’t made breakfast yet? We’ve got you.🙌

Creamy butter beans, greens, bone broth and buttery sourdough for scooping. One pan, plenty for the family and very little chance of leftovers!

Lemony Brothy Beans

Ingredients

1 brown onion, finely diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 carrots, finely chopped
2 celery sticks, finely chopped
2 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves removed
1 tablespoon butter, ghee or olive oil
2 x 400g tins butter beans, rinsed and drained
700ml GOOD BONES Bone Broth
1 cup chopped kale, fresh or frozen
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional to serve

2 slices sourdough, toasted and buttered
2 tablespoons parmesan, grated

Method

1. Heat a large frying pan or casserole dish over medium heat. Add the butter and onion and cook for about 5 minutes, until softened and lightly browned.
2. Add the carrot, celery, garlic and thyme. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring regularly, until starting to caramelise.
3. Add the drained beans and pour in the bone broth. Stir in the kale and bring to the boil, then reduce to a simmer. Leave the lid off and cook for around 10 minutes, until slightly reduced.
4. Squeeze in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Serve warm, topped with parmesan and a slice of buttered sourdough. Add your protein of choice if desired.
