My coffee story starts in Mona Vale with early 4:30am coffees and chats with Phil at 2kf years ago , i was hustling and having busy days and we were in a discussion about having space in your week for things to bubble up and being aware enough to explore them. Phil was quick to explore the idea and the lease came up in his favour for what would be the Inch in the weeks following .
It was a fit out and project we did together with a shared love of community and a sense of place. Soon after the open Phil in his wisdom decided small was better (and I’ve learnt since that indeed there is a grace in that simplicity.)And whilst he was back to 2kf we would share a chat over coffee and Romi would say please put a sacrificial piece of banana bread on ….Phil is on the grill and Jem is here….
In the 17 years since we’ve always had a venue selling coffee and or more , today has been a changeover and a turning of the tide.
It’s time again for me to listen to the bubbling other opportunities and Honour Ally and our beautiful girls whilst they are young. Weekends will be flying kites and being present with them and properly available.
Time to now Explore some new opportunities and write some stories yet unwritten …… we’ve loved being a part of our extended community, Ally spoke to me only yesterday about through both pregnancies it’s been nice to come to our little hole in the wall and have again a sense of place …. Thanks to those who you know who you are and the meaningful friendships , support and adventures we’ve shared.
As I think Campos’s second wholesale account from Will’s original early days in growing
A huge thank you for your support and never missing a beat in that time …… Jeremy
