Beautiful base, generous and tasty toppings and you get that cheesy pull when you pick up your first slice. Highly recommend.

Hi All,

The quality of seafood, portion size, crispy thick cut chips. Threw me back to the Whanau/family fortnightly Friday night dinner’s in the 70’s in Mangere Auckland (yes, in the 1900’s😂😂). We highly recommend them and if you’re ever in the area, please give them a try. And this coming from an Expert in the field. Definitely be coming to see you again next time we’re in the area. Street Feast Minto is on Friday starting from 4pm. And we will be there supporting a wonderful new food business serving French baguettes filled with delicious meats, homemade sauces and love. Yes we have been sampling the goods and yummmmmm. Hope to see you all there.

Well the wait is nearly over. We would like to introduce Kai Stylz Takeaway which will be opening very soon. Betty, Tre, Moses and their family have been busy adding their own finishing touches to your local takeaway shop and are almost ready to go. Hi all. Firstly we would like sincerely apologize for not updating any sooner, and for not being able to respond to those that have reached out privately, it has been really hard for us to not be able to let you all know what is happening. Legally we weren’t able to.

So to all our amazing customers, family and friends. We would like to announce that we are closing Ah Dar’s Takeaway. This was not an easy decision. But for those that have gotten to know us, you will understand that we have both battled with various medical ailments over time. So after 8 years we have decided to prioritize our health and wellbeing. We are so very grateful and humbled by all the support and love our community has given us. We have loved getting to know you all, hearing your stories, watching your children grow, laughing and sometimes crying with you. Sharing our passion for food, while we shared experiences and life’s ups and downs with you all has been an absolute joy and we can’t thank you all enough for your kindness and for being part of our journey. We are both in agreement that we will miss our awesome staff and customers more than anything. Yes even more than cooking 😁
To all our staff past and present, thank you again for your commitment, support, energy, trust, challenges and laughter. We couldn’t have done it without you. Working with you all was a privilege and a joy.
We are both so blessed to have grown a successful business over 8 years and are truly grateful to our community, family and friends that have been there to support us.
Even though our hearts are heavy with sadness, we are also excited to see where life will take us next. But we are more excited to introduce the awesome family that will be taking over from us. We will introduce them shortly, once all the legal and real estate issues get sorted. So if you can all bear with us for just a little longer while we get everything finalized. And once the new owners open up we will be there for the first few weeks. So once we have dates locked in please pop in to show your support, say goodbye to us and show this new family what an amazing community they are a part of. We will update with the new owners details as soon as we can share more info.
