All Good Things Must Come To An End….

After 10 incredible years, we share this message with heavy hearts that Tatas Indian Restaurant will be closing its doors on Monday the 27th April 2026 with the last day of operation on Sunday the 26th of April 2026.

We know this may come to a shock to most of our customers and we understand how you feel, but we felt it’s now time to put down the pots and pans and hang up the apron.

Serving this community has been more than just running a restaurant, it has been an honour and a privilege. We are so proud to have shared our food, culture, and passion with the amazing locals of Rooty Hill and the wider Fijian community who have supported us from the very beginning.

From family dinners to celebrations, from familiar faces who became friends to new customers who gave us a chance, every single one of you has been part of our journey. Your loyalty, warmth, and support over the past decade have meant the world to us.

It’s not easy to say goodbye to something that has given us so much, but we leave with full hearts and deep gratitude. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and your tables.

Dear Customers,

We would like to thank all our customers, friends and family who attended the funeral service of Late Mr Raj Gopal Pillay. With over 500+ guests attending and showing their support to the Pillay family, we really appreciate it.

As we start the New Year, the restaurant will resume normal business hours as usual. However, the restaurant will close sometimes during the next coming weeks to proceed with rituals and prayers.

We thank you for your patience during this difficult time and hope to keep cooking for you all. We hope you all have a Happy New Year moving forward and thank you for supporting us for over 12+ years.
