W E A R E F A M I L Y 🤍
This business, our business, is truly a small family business. Since Poolside began in 2007 almost everyone near and dear to us has played a part in our story – working with us, spending with us, celebrating with us. We’ve hosted so many of our friends’ engagements, birthdays, christenings, anniversaries and some truly special weddings at Poolside. Countless brunches, lunches, cocktails and dance floors have been shared.
Our incredible team of staff has become part of our family. We have been so lucky to have employed literally hundreds of amazing people from all around the world. The loyalty, the love and the respect for our business has never gone unnoticed. We cannot begin to tell you how much we will miss our team.
And our own little family has grown here too. We’ve seen our daughter and son take their first steps in the cafe, celebrated their birthdays here, and taught them both to swim in the pool. They’ve learnt how to froth milk for the best babycino, how to cook the perfect poached egg, how to set the table and even how to mop the floor. Their whole life has happened at Poolside.
But all good things come to an end. While Covid has brought that ending earlier than we had planned, we are ready to say goodbye and excited for what is next. We’ve always said Poolside is Sydney’s best-kept secret, and we are so lucky to have found it.
