Every day at Opera Bar, Sydney's finest musicians take to the stage to provide the soundtrack to your harbourside experience. Freshness and seasonality infuse everything we do from our spritzy cocktails and crisp pale ales to our light and seasonal menu with a seafood focus. We’re also big believers in supporting local so you’ll see that reflected in our menus - in fact our still wine list is now 100% Aussie. Come for the view, stay for the memories.

Welcome 2027 Under the Southern Sky at Opera Bar - a premium New Year’s Eve celebration brought to life with immersive event styling inspired by the beauty of the southern sky.

On 31 December 2026, Opera Bar transforms the harbourside precinct into a journey through the Australian landscape, beneath the Sydney Opera House sails. 

TICKETS: $850 + booking fee 
ON SALE: Wed 16th Sept 2026, 8:30am AEST
This will be the only ticket release for New Year’s Eve at Opera Bar. 

Your ticket includes a drink on arrival, roaming canapés throughout the evening, live entertainment and DJs, and front-row views of the fireworks at 9pm and midnight.
