Orange cake soaked in a lemony syrup. If you're after a whole loaf cake, DM us & we'll save you one.
Yuzu palmiers- crisp & caramelised w/ yuzu zest through the puff.
Lime madeleines- the madeleine's zesty from Turramurrian limes. The glaze, sharp πŸ‹β€πŸŸ©

The cheesecake danish: vanilla cheesecake, tart sour cherries, salty crumble πŸ’

Pork-sage-hot maple syrup. Baked through the day so hopefully you get a hot one πŸ”₯

Note.. Portuguese tarts Sat only πŸ™

Fruit sours all 3 days cos the Sunday people have been missing it

Little tester of the cake this week. Citrus-soaked orange cake.
She's bright, zesty, punchy, juicy, squidgy and just generally delightful. The syrup is mostly lemon which oddly, accentuates the orangeyness & adds some tartness cos these new season oranges were incredibly sweet

The plan was to serve simple juicy slices... but turns out a little mascarpone cream is essential. So orange cake with whipped mascarpone cream this week.

Slices or whole cakes. A whole loaf cake would serve 7-8

Longganisa is a Filipino sausage.. garlicky, smokey, slightly sweet.
Reimagined in a laminated pastry. Filled w our longganisa mix. Baked, then glazed with soy caramel. Lots tomorrow, Sunday.

A pretty good yuzu tart.
Honeyed graham cracker tart shell, sharp yuzu curd, yuzu mascarpone whipped cream (a bit over our torched meringue phase πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«)

A good balance of zing from the yuzu & creaminess from... well, the cream. In a butterscotchy, delicate shell. Both Sat & Sun

Yuzu tarts. The crust is sweet, the yuzu curd sharp & the cream gently sweet & fragrant from the yuzu zest. All 3 days

Donuts- weekend only πŸ™
2 new fillings:
Butterscotch custard
Quince compote & creme fraiche
(and possibly some raspberry jam ones.. for the less adventurous 🌚)

The potato JB: garlic & rosemary roasted potato discs, a post-bake shaving of truffled manchego

Longganisa croissants- you know them! Several batches through the day so they're warm

The Bounty biscuits sandwiches.. not as madly sweet as a Bounty. The chocolate's dark & the coconut "fudge" made with fresh coconut, flaked coconut, coconut cream. One that I eat far too many of when it's on the menu 🍫πŸ₯₯

Piped every 30mins-ish, so they're crisp when you get them. The one I had was still crisp 4 hours after.. but don't be getting them for the evening/the next day! You don't want no soggy cannoli ☠️☠️

Vanilla morning bun- a light layer of vanilla custard in a pastry swirl, caramelised vanilla sugar. Filled with a tart rhubarb compote

Our version deviates slightly from the original w the addition of coconut... which imo takes it from "ooo I'll have a slice" to full Bruce Bogtrotter mode

Crisp, light, chewy cashew dacquoise layered with salted coconut buttercream. Coated with roasted cashews, toasted coconut.
