Two nights this week, a menu the GPO kitchen had never cooked before, and a room that stayed full till late night.

Chef John Rivera from ASKAL • FILIPINO RESTAURANT MELBOURNE flew up to cook alongside Alejandro Saravia. Philippines and Peru on one menu, for the first time. One night sold out quickly, so we added a second, that filled up just as fast. Different oceans, same story: migration, colonisation, the way food carries all of it home.
