Meet our Assistant Manager… Kurt!

From fine dining to pubs (and just about everything in between), Kurt has seen it all. After spending two years managing The Highlands from 2021, Kurt continued his journey in hospitality elsewhere following the closure of The Highlands in 2023. Soon enough, he found his way back home to The Royal early 2024.

Having been part of the journey through thick and thin with covid, the fire and everything else that comes with hospitality, Kurt has helped steer the venue through some of its toughest moments with unwavering dedication. Whether he was single-handedly running The Highlands or leading the team here at The Royal, his passion for hospitality and commitment has never changed!

If you’ve stopped by, chances are you’ve been greeted by Kurt. Be sure to say hello next time you’re in ☺️
