It’s been a year of ups and downs.
On the business side of things; in March the local council came past and told us we can’t have any more seating at our food truck. Despite months of applications and thousands spent, they didn’t budge at all and we made the decision to move on from this location.
We were also blessed to announce our second location in Bexley which will be launching VERY soon in January and we can’t wait to share the build with you.
In my personal life, someone close to me was diagnosed with brain cancer in June, coming completely out of nowhere and as a shock to us all. It’s taken its toll but we take it day by day and do what we can.
We hosted a charity day in October for the cause and were fortunate enough to raise $8620 which absolutely blew me away, and so given all the circumstances, it was only right that we ran another.
So this Sunday, we’re hosting this day to not only remember and celebrate 6 years of Chebbo’s Burgers, but also a final farewell to the Roselands location that made us who we are, and all for a good cause – donating every dollar spent with us to Chris O Brien Lifehouse for cancer research and treatment.
We’ll be selling the insanely popular OG smashburger tacos, along with chimichurri mayo loaded fries and a chimichurri smash burger – a personal fav that I feel like I owe you all given how I haven’t really sold anything whacky like I make in my videos haha
