OOPS… WE FORGOT TO TELL YOU SOMETHING 🍔😂

Soooo… minor detail. We’re actually at PARRAMATTA LANES ALL WEEK! 🎉

And in true Burger Head fashion, we’ve bitten off a little more than we can chew. 😅

So we’ve had to close the kiosk for the week while we sling burgers across Parramatta!

But don’t worry, we’re not far away. You can find us at TWO locations:

🍔 Church Street – Follow the smell of burgers.

🍔 Level 2 Car Park – Hanging out with the legends at Bossman Experiences.

Sorry for the late notice. Apparently we’re better at making burgers than keeping everyone updated. 🤦‍♂️

💳 CARD SURCHARGES ARE OUT. Thanks, Albo.

Apparently this is meant to save you money.

Here’s what they forgot to mention…

Businesses still have costs associated with accepting card payments. Those costs don’t magically disappear because Albo and his crew of amazing spenders say we can’t show them as a surcharge anymore.

So what happens?

Businesses factor the remaining cost into their pricing.

And here’s the beautiful part…

When that cost was a card surcharge, it went toward covering the cost of processing the payment.

When businesses instead increase their GST-inclusive menu prices to recover costs, a portion of that higher price can flow through as additional GST.

So congratulations — the surcharge might disappear from your receipt, but the cost hasn’t necessarily disappeared from your pocket.

They’ve just made it less visible.

Call it what you want. From where we’re standing, it feels like another creative way for the government to get its hands on more of your hard-earned money while telling you they’re saving you money.

And if businesses across the country respond by putting prices up? You can work out what that does for the cost of living.

Back in 2018, we put a burger on the menu as a one-week special. We never expected what happened next.

The Carpe Bacon disappeared… and almost immediately someone started a petition to bring it back.

Ever since then, every single time we’ve asked, “What special should we bring back?” the answer has been the same:

Carpe Bacon.

After years of requests, we’ve finally given in.

The Carpe Bacon is back… but just like the first time, it’s not here forever. It’s here until it’s not.

If you’ve been waiting years for its return, now’s your chance. And if you’ve never tried it before, this is the burger that’s been living rent-free in people’s heads since 2018.

JINDABYNE… WE’RE COMING FOR YOU 🍔❄️

Burger Head is heading to the snow… which is brave, considering the snow has apparently taken annual leave we can only hope that with all the grease we bring theres also some snow too.

We’ll be parked up at The Village Church, Jindabyne from 3rd–9th July, slinging burgers every night from 5:30pm–8:30pm.

We’re doing a Classic Cheese + Chips combo for $20 cash only, plus our full menu for anyone needing emotional support after looking at the snow report.

And look, if conditions get truly dire and tragic, we may even consider opening for lunch. Desperate times call for smash burgers.
