Uncle Bao Uncle Bao has created a Pan Asian twist to the iconic Taiwanese Street food - Gua Bao. Steaming since 2016, we are currently available on Ubereats.

The concept of Uncle Bao is based around the traditional Taiwanese snack food where a soft pillowy steamed bao is partnered with various fillings and other condiments. These baos are also known as ‘Taiwanese burgers’ and are a very popular street food from the streets of Taiwan. These baos are typically available year round at some of Taipei’s night markets but us as Uncle Bao want to bring these delicious snacks to the streets of Sydney. Uncle Bao’s aim is to bring not only the traditional Taiwanese baos to Sydney but also take our inspiration from everywhere! From filings the soft steamed baos with braised pork through to the more exotic combinations such as soft shelled crab. Our baos are always made to order ensuring they are always fresh and warm and nothing short of delicious.
