This is a Roastery and wine store. Anyone who knows me, I'm In Heaven.
Coffees included cortardo to start. Batch brews

Nicaragua Finca el Povenir. Natural process. Unripe passionfruit. Refreshing, clean and dry. A result of getting a light roast right.

Kenya Masai dark roast. Sooo unusual. This coffee is typically a fine acid and fruity coffee. Light to medium roast. Carbolic on nose which gives way to cocoa as per cools. Nutty and cocoa. Clean as. Out there!

Colombia Nativo Pink Bourbon Honey.
Three coffees here. Including a DBL espresso brewing Sumatra. (No detail) More contemporary lighter roast. Two pour overs. The pour overs were excellent. Some of the best I have had. Tasting notes spot on.

This is a must visit store for pour overs, hot or cold. The Esmeralda Gesha was as expected. it's a wonderful balanced varietal. A Colombia Black Honey WAS tasting better yesterday.
Whether the Gesha is significantly better than other coffees like our Sumatra Blue Bianca which is 'only' an estate coffee. There are variables which can greatly affect the flavour; roast, age & brew.

Day One. Tokyo.
Cortardo. Old school, dark caramel roast. A blend, not a single origin. Damn fine!! A different look at roasting coffee.
