It's with a bittersweet sentiment that we announce Raja's final service will be on Saturday May 4th. We're immensely proud of our team and all their incredible accomplishments, earning recognition from the Guide and being named as a finalist at the Good Food Guide Best New Restaurant of the Year awards. To our wonderful regulars and guests, we can’t thank you enough for your unwavering support and for sharing our passion for contemporary Indian cuisine. Today at Raja we’re celebrating Holi, the Hindu festival of colour and the welcoming of spring. It’s not a Holi party without the Gujiya — a crescent-shaped sweet, dating back to the 13th century. Crisp, fried pastries stuffed with sweetened mawa and almonds, bathed in saffron syrup. Served atop a saffron and rose-infused shrikhand. Limited serves available.
