Hawaii’s favourite treat has FINALLY touched down on the Gold Coast! The Shave Ice Shack is proud to announce Australia’s very first Shave Ice Parlour. Along with being one of the world best kept secrets, Shave Ice is a work of art and an amazingly TASTY treat. The Shack’s refreshing delight is made from the yummiest ingredients & all-natural sweeteners. Each cup is loaded high with white, fluffy, Smooth Ice and topped with scrumptious homemade fruit flavours. Our purpose is simple - we endeavor to give everyone that walks through our doors the very best Shave Ice experience possible and leave them craving more. We start with a large block of tempered ice, which is spun across a razor-sharp blade in one of our authentic Hawaiian Shave Ice machines. The ice is not ‘grounded’ or ‘crushed it's ‘shaved’, resulting in a fine, fluffy soft ice which is ultra light and airy. To preserve the delicate snow-like texture the ice is then artistically packed into a unique flower cup. The ice is the perfect consistency for our flavours, absorbing every drop so none of that yummy liquid sinks to the bottom of the cup like with that ugly crushed ice. All of our flavours are made with the highest quality ingredients and are free from nasty additives like high fructose corn syrup. We use organic cane sugar to sweeten our flavours.
