We have decided it’s time to close our doors.

Little Rays is not just a job for our young people. It’s a place to belong, it’s part of their purpose, and it’s become their daily passion.
The fact that we can’t even give our staff a hug as we close our doors is especially tough. However we know the confidence, resilience, and dedication Tanaya, Tommy, and Torrey have developed over their time so far with Little Rays will help them in this current transition. On behalf of my family, Brimbank City Council, and our wonderful customers I want to say thank you to this brilliant team and wish them the very best over the coming weeks until we know when we can reopen safely.

Thank you also to you - our loyal customers - for your love of Little Rays. We of course wouldn’t be here without your support. We look forward to sharing a coffee with you soon. Alex

We uphold the highest standards of hygiene and food safety processes and procedures at Little Rays, and it will be business as usual with these to keep our awesome customers & staff safe & healthy. However, in the interest of ensuring we do our bit at this time of increased need, we have decided to take a few extra precautions.

☕️ We will be declining keep-cups for takeaway drinks for the short term - We LOVE promoting the use of keep-cups and it’s clear the impact we are having on the environment with this important initiative. However we need to come together to do what we can for each other right now, and we will take this step until further notice.

☕️ We will also be more frequently cleaning surfaces with our disinfectant.

☕️ We would prefer tap and go payments where possible

☕️ We will continue to create a calm, safe and relaxing space for you to enjoy your cuppa and something to eat.

Our 9th intern who successfully became part of the Little Rays family, developed considerably since her first day, and we are sure the skills and confidence she now holds will be incredibly useful in all her future endeavours.

Dilshi has decided she is ready to study, choosing Justice & Criminology. We wish her every success.
