Hi everyone unfortunately I can’t be at the shop this morning but will be there tomorrow. If you do drop anything off today please leave it at the side door and I’ll have someone take it in for me 🙂 .

As a last sign of good will before the lights turn off if anyone has tins or packaged food to donate to those in hard times please drop them off at the shop tomorrow morning, I’ll be there cleaning and giving what we have left.
Thanks everyone for all the love and support you have shown especially your contributions to those in need.
This is what makes a community it’s you guys helping each other.
Thank you again from the bottom of my heart for the memories and love.

Hey everyone, do you know someone doing it tough? Tomorrow I’ll be giving away frozen pasta sauce - our carbonara, spaghetti bolognaise and a few lasagnas ( single serve but will feed 2 children easily ) and frozen pasta. I’ll give you directions for heating it up. Please message our Facebook messenger and I’ll contact you? To our valued Valley Slice customers,
I am writing to share a disappointing update regarding the future of the shop. While we had secured a dedicated buyer and our staff were ready to reopen the doors, the landlord has decided not to proceed with the new lease, and we have been asked to vacate the premises.
In the coming days, we will be selling our equipment and shop contents as we look toward our next steps. We are incredibly proud of the impact we made in our short time, from community donations to the delicious food we shared. I want to personally thank my incredible team and every one of you who supported us.
Though Valley Slice is coming to an end, we wish the next business well and thank you for being part of our story."

We had desperately hoped to open tonight but due to a lack of staff and and me not being able to be in there due to illness we cannot, our younger staff obviously have school and cannot do the prep for me through the week.
We have had 1 or 2 lovely people reach out and offer to manage the store but I am unable to even be there to train them to make the dough and teach them prep, I had no idea I would feel this ill for the last two weeks and hope to be back up on my feet ASAP.
I am incredibly sorry to our customers, prep requires at least two people, I have glandular fever and an unknown respiratory infection on top of other ongoing issues with my autoimmune disease and fibromyalgia, 1 am infectious and cannot prep food or serve plus an overwhelming fatigue making it impossible right now. I am trying to be as transparent as possible while also being under immense stress knowing we NEED to open. I know this is a lot of private information but felt you deserved an explanation especially as I’m getting so many messages.
