About NONDA
NONDA (.restaurant) is a modern Japanese restaurant at Gasworks Plaza, Newstead, bringing together Japanese-inspired dishes, seasonal ingredients, sake, cocktails and a lively dining experience. NONDA is proudly part of Eastern Culinary Collective, alongside some of Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast’s favourite restaurants.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide attentive and knowledgeable table service
- Take orders and confidently explain food and beverage offerings
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain a high standard of service throughout the guest experience
- Set up and reset tables before, during and after service
- Handle payments and process transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the venue
- Work closely with the kitchen and FOH team to ensure smooth service
What We’re Looking For:
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Friendly, confident and approachable personality
- Open-minded attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and responsible approach to work
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- W**e and sake knowledge is desirable but not essential
- Japanese hospitality experience or knowledge is a bonus, but not required
