Different shades of blue… the mesmerising Cyclades… Greece 🇬🇷

This tour with .sugo_goes holds more steps & salty adventure’s than others that I host… we traipse across Athens with an archeologist before climbing to the very tip top of Anafiotika… we take a teeny plane to the islands & eat freshly grilled Octopus dripping in lemon juice with our fingers… we jump of yachts into crystal clear waters & swim to hidden beaches… we explore hidden back lanes of Kastro after sharing bottles of Orange wine…

But we also let go of time & hold space for sun kissed skin… for the constant lapping waves to lull our minds into a quieter state… for the beautiful blues to fill our visual love tanks to overflow 💦

I adore our time in Greece!!!

A new date for next year’s tour has been chosen to help avoid climate changes cold winds & rain that nipped the last few days on tour this year…

A few days soaking in all the goodness that is being home… of loving on my boys & catching up on their lives… of appreciating my husband and all that he carries while I’m away…

Then the delicious joy of looking back through my photos, remembering each little moment of delight at the beauty that spanned from Lake Como to Liguria, Emilia Romagna to Athens, the Cyclades to Spain!

Travel takes us out of our comfort zones, it reveals what we are made of, it fills our hearts with fresh wonder at all the best bits of this world & it gives us perspective on our lives & what we want to keep ahold of & also what we want to let go…

I am beyond grateful for the work & the wonder that comes hand in hand with running .sugo_goes & as our 2026 season comes to an end I am also seriously excited to get started on all the travel adventures that 2027 will bring!

My welcome to Granada, Spain 🇪🇸

I sourced the most authentic Sacramento Flamenco Cave for a performance tonight… I walled the Calle’s in Albacian where I an staying until my feet hurt… I had my first taste of Iberian Jamon and had to close my eyes to savour it melting on my tongue … the Sangria is actually delicious… & I also tasted Granadas famous Salmarejo!

I was to sleepy to eat out so a quick stop to a mini mart for a delicious Spanish Potato Omelette, some crispy little jamon & a bottle of red all for just 8 euro 👌🏻

Buenas Nochas from Granada… ya gal has had a massive few days of travel & life thrown at her so I think I may sleep for at least 24hrs 🤭🫶🏼 🇪🇸

Sifnos & the final resting place for my guests .sugo_goes to Greece & Her Islands!

This sleepy island holds a key to my heart as it still holds such beautiful authenticity… the food is elevated & innovative & life moves at a pace that heals & restores 🤲🏻

Oh today… she was LOVELY!!!

The sun shone as it should on the Greek Isles, we swam & splashed & sun baked & inhaled fresh seafood… then sipped as the sun set in front of us in beautiful Plaka 🇬🇷

It was a picture perfect day on tour which makes me one happy mumma 🙌🏻♥️🇬🇷

Tomorrow is boat day… ya’ll know by now with .sugo_goes what that means! 💋

So it’s Arriverderci to this beautifully blessed land for now… from Varenna on Lake Como to Santa Margherita, Camogli, Portofino, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Vernazza, Tellaro & Bologna she goes!

That’s a wrap for my Italian .sugo_goes for 2026, what incredible experiences & memories we have all made together 🇮🇹🤭♥️

Next year’s small group, bespoke tours will be held in Puglia in Late May, Sicily in early June, Varenna to Chianti in late June… and then A Tuscan & Ligurian Summer in September & Greece & Her Islands in mid September 🤲🏻

About last night… a Bach concert & dinner set high up in the hills of Tramonti… through a forest… to a vineyard.

We sipped the owners Pulito wines that tasted of the soil & salty sea below us, ate homemade risotto & tart & watched the sun & moon sink down into the sea!

A gorgeous finale to this Septembers .sugo_goes A Ligurian Summer 🙌🏻
