THIS COMMUNITY 🩷

A huge thank you to everyone who came down on Sunday and showed up for Dakota. What started as a goal to raise $10,000 to help fund her breast cancer treatment turned into over $16,000 raised. We couldn’t be more grateful.

A special thank you to 550runclub and Beautiful You Program for helping bring this fundraiser to life, along with all of our sponsors, donors, our incredible staff and every single person who came along to support.

🩷 DAY FOR DAKOTA FUNDRAISER | SUNDAY 18TH OCTOBER. BREAST CANCER AWARENESS 🩷

Dakota is a Sunshine Coast Local, she's just turned 30, and her chemo has stopped working sooner than anyone hoped. Her best chance now is a drug called Tukysa, which can reach the cancer that’s spread to her brain. It isn’t subsidised in Australia yet, so the costs is around $9,000 per month.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re hosting A Day for Dakota on Sunday 18 October alongside 550 Run Club and Beautiful You to raise money for her cancer treatment. Every ticket, bid and donation helps get Dakota closer to her treatment, with funds raised going towards her GoFundMe.

On the day, we’ll be running an auction, live music, food & drinks as-well as a free giveaway, stacked with prizes donated by our amazing locals. A few prizes on offer.

Dakota Hope Rises for Dakota

Ten months ago, this community showed up for Dakota in a way she’ll never forget. Now she needs us again.

Dakota is 30, her chemo has stopped working sooner than anyone hoped and her best chance now is a drug called Tukysa, which can reach the cancer that’s spread to her brain. It isn’t subsidised in Australia yet meaning the cost is around $9,000 per month, reaching a total of $64,000.

On Sunday 18 October, we’re hosting A Day for Dakota alongside our event organisers 550runclub and , a charity that supports women going through cancer. Every cent goes straight to Dakota’s GoFundMe.

We’re running an auction stacked with some great prices donated by our amazing locals 🩷
