Dear our valued customers

As we announced before, we will open from 4th July with downsized operations, trading hours and number of staffs due to unforseen circumstances. Please kindly check our new trading hours.

Also, due to downsized operations and hence minimum number of staffs, unfortunately, followings are needed to be changed.
*Menus are downsized (No more Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, etc)
*No reservation is taken.
*Number of seats are about a half of previous size.
*Staffs are very minimized so may takes longer to serve when busy.

We understand this changes are not attractive, but we hope you still enjoy our restaurant.

Again, I deeply apology for needs to change. Hopefully you will use us for sometimes.

Dear our valued customers.

Thank you for your continuous support. Previously, we informed the closing of Soba Shimbashi on 28th June, but we have decided to continue our restaurant by downsizing of our operations including number of seats and menus until the next tenant is decided.

We are very full of gratitude to hear from many customers, however, I am deeply apology for make you confusion, especially customers who use us because of thinking we permanently closed. This is very tough decision, but I am greatly appreciated you understand this extremely hard circumstances.

As we announced, we will open until 28th June (Wednesday) for trading as normal. We need to close from 29th June for preparing to re-open. Hopefully back to open from 4th of July, but I will make an announcement including new trading dates, time, menus, number of seats, etc.

Again, Thank you for so much for your continuous support and I deeply aplogy for this matter.

New Warm Soba!!

This is Moon Tanuki Soba. Warm soba with poached egg and tempura crunchy. Tasty and mild.

🦝Tanuki means Raccoon

Why Tankuki soba?
There are some myths, but one is we use tempura crunchy.
In Japanese, we sometimes called "tane" for tempura ingredients. Tempura crunchy is no "tane" and "nuki" means get rid of, or no something.
