Vernon's Bar is located upstairs. Located in the old Summer Hill Post Office circa 1901, this iconic building reopened in 2014 as One Penny Red and Vernon’s Bar. The design holds a hint of classic, a tribute to the building’s heritage, while being modern and welcoming. Split between two levels, One Penny Red offers several inviting areas, including the restaurant downstairs which leads to a covere

d patio and outdoor deck. Vernon’s Bar upstairs is a neighbourhood gem delivering cocktails and snacks to rival any city bar. Discover one of the Inner West’s best balcony’s where an afternoon refreshment is always a delight. A Private Dining Room for those special occasions is also upstairs. The menu is designed for sharing, changing with the seasons and using sustainable and organic produce. The award winning menu and wine list suits casual walkins through to anniversaries any special occasion.
