Touchwood Cafe & Cottages, Stanley

Touchwood Cafe & Cottages, Stanley Cafe - walk down the lane and enjoy the experience of amazing coffee and food. Looking for a breath of fresh air? All are fully self-contained.

If so, you can't beat the quaint little seaside village of Stanley on Tasmania's North West Coast. With its whistling wind and gorgeous countryside, Stanley is the ideal base for exploring all the natural beauty and attractions the region has to offer. Noted for its friendliness and warm hospitality Touchwood Cottages are situated in the heart of Stanley and are the perfect place to relax and unwind. There is an excellent cafe on-site using an abundance of local fresh produce open six days of the week and some evenings. A design Gallery and gift shop choc full of Tasmanian product complete the small complex which, with its cobble stone walkways and old street lamps, is reminiscent of an English scene! All three cottages are 4 star rated and decorated in a colonial style. They are well appointed, full of character and charm and extremely comfortable. Hearty breakfast supplies, a fresh fruit bowl and our signature chocolates with port are included in your tariff.

A new chapter 🤍

Touchwood Café has now closed under my operation as I step into a new chapter for myself and my family.

I am incredibly proud of what my wonderful team and I created, and so grateful for the support, friendships and memories made throughout my time at Touchwood.

To our staff, customers locally and travelling, suppliers and the Stanley community—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness and support have meant more to me than I can say.

While there may be something new ahead for the premises, I am no longer involved, and any future updates will come from those taking it forward.

For now, I’m choosing to look ahead with gratitude, hope and excitement for what comes next.

With love,
Sharni 🤍
