Marie Helene Tristram
9/11/1926 - 5/8/2025 RIP ❤️
Yesterday I received the sad and news that
Our dearly loved Marie has passed on.
I met Marie nearly 10 years ago at Butternut.
Little did I know she would become such an important person in my life.
She became my mountains "nana".
Through Marie I met her daughter Jan and have been friends ever since.
Marie was smart witted and cheeky and would always put a smile on everyone's face.
She would always turn up to the cafe with a little bunch of flowers for me or a can of tuna or a bottle of ginger beer for Mark Hahaha but one of the funniest moments was when I had finally purchased a unit in Springwood, she turned up with a 18 pack of toilet paper and said to me
" here's your house-warming present in case I give you the sh*ts" I couldn't stop laughing and that's the women Marie was.
She would sit and tell me stories from her past and have us in fits of laughter.
Its hard to believe we will never see her walk through our doors again but comforting to know we have so many wonderful memories to hold on to. We love you Marie.❤️
