Over the last few days, many businesses across Queensland and NSW made the difficult decision to close due to the expected impact of Cyclone Alfred. While ensuring the safety of staff and customers was the priority, these closures have had a significant financial toll—especially for small businesses that rely on daily trade to stay afloat!

Even though the cyclone didn’t bring widespread physical damage, the loss of income, canceled bookings, and disruptions to supply chains, paying staff during absence, loss of stock and perishables, have left many business owners struggling to recover.
