At Oriental Teahouse, we blur the lines between Chinese tradition and the Melbourne contemporary dining experience to create the ultimate Modern Chinese experience. David Zhou started Oriental Teahouse as a small tea shop on Chapel Street in 1993. The business has since flourished into one of Melbourne's go-to Yum Cha destinations, with 2 premiere locations as well as Zhou Zhou bar above Chapel S

treet. Tea and Yum Cha are our thing, and nothing gives us more of a buzz than balancing authenticity with creativity. Sure, we offer all the classics, such as Siu Mai dumplings, but we’re not afraid to serve juicy parcels stuffed with chilli wagyu beef or even white chocolate. The term "Yum Cha" refers to the custom of eating small servings of different foods, paired with some well brewed Chinese Tea. When most people think of Yum Cha they think of Sunday lunchtime, but here at Oriental Teahouse, we like to offer Yum Cha at any time of day, 7 days a week! As for our tea, each signature blend is hand-crafted by Oriental Teahouse founder David Zhou. Since moving from Shanghai to Melbourne David has dedicated his life to understanding the holistic healing properties of different teas, creating blends that are as beneficial for the body as they are on the taste buds.

If you love Peking duck, but wish it arrived in slightly smaller, easier-to-share parcels, we have good news - our roast duck dumplings are filled with roast duck, wrapped in a delicate wrapper and served with plum sauce for dipping.

The numbers have been reviewed. The dumplings have been approved. The Teahouse Tax Department is pleased to announce Teahouse Tax Return.

From 17–30 June, spend with Oriental Teahouse and receive Teahouse Notes for a future visit.
💸 Spend $50 - Receive a $50 Teahouse Note
💸 Spend $100 - Receive two $50 Teahouse Notes
💸 Spend $500 - Receive one $500 Teahouse Notes

Then from 1 July, use your Teahouse Notes on future dining, catering and function bookings.

Putting the “return” back into tax return. Now that’s the kind of accounting we can get behind.

The slightly boring but important part:
• Earn between 17–30 June only
• Each $50 Note can be redeemed on a future spend of $250+ until 31st August!
• Notes cannot be used on the same transaction they are earned
