He started a career as a sushi chef by working in various Japanese kitchens in the United States, and at the same time was trained by a number of celebrity chefs, including Shigeo Yamane who first turned Christopher as a sushi chef. Japanese sushi, your GAIJIN dining experience will make you want to come back for more. We have a variety of menu; from salad, don (rice), udon (noodle) to more than 20-sushi roll dishes including sashimi and combos. To make our menu more interesting, we review, update and change our menu every 6-8 months.

Dear valued customers and friends,

Gaijin will be closing our doors on 15th of February 2025. We may reallocate/open again in the future at a different location. As for now, our operations at South Yarra will be coming to a halt.

We would just like to say thank you for your support throughout the years, we will miss seeing and serving you ♥️
