We are looking for an enthusiastic person that would love to join our team.
We are a family owned and operated business that has been in the Clarence Valley for many years, who takes pride in offering the best service possible to our local community.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Barista / Short order cook, to join our team at The Coffee Container. A local coffee and takeaway outlet in South Grafton. We offer our customers a range of Barista made drinks as well as lots of different hot and cold food options.
This position is for 2-3 days a week. Mondays and Tuesdays with every second Wednesday required as well.
Requirements for the position:
# Experienced Barista
# Experienced short order cook
# The ability to work alone in a fast paced environment at times
# The ability to multi task with orders of both food and coffees at one time
# Available for a 5:30am - 1:30pm shift
# Be well presented to a standard one would expect for food service
# Have a bubbly personality that enjoys working with the local community and takes pride in their work
# Available to start ASAP

Delicious Homemade Soup!
Starting on the 9th of June 2026, We have a selection of Homemade Soups on offer, so check out the counter for which flavour is the soup of the day.
To make this special even better, you can add a plain cheese toasty for just $5 or one of our delicious toasty options, with a selection of meats, onions, tomato etc, for just $7 for the perfect dunking tool for your soup.
Our Soup is served in a large takeaway cup to make it easy to eat on the go.

Did you know that every time you purchase one of our barista coffees, that you are doing your part in supporting Beyond Blue?
When deciding on the perfect coffee beans to order for our customers, we didn’t skimp on anything!
First and foremost was selecting a coffee with a rich and beautiful flavour ✅
Second was making sure we supported an Australian company, supporting businesses in our own backyard ✅
Finally, supporting a company that gives back to the community and helps the members of our communities in need ✅
We are proud to support The Common Good Coffee Company by purchasing our coffee from them.
With every kilo bag of coffee beans we purchase, they donate $1 directly to Beyond Blue, an amazing charity, helping many through hard times.
Currently as a team, $90385 has been raised for Beyond Blue and that figure will continue to rise with every coffee enjoyed.

Another week means another special at The Coffee Container.
This week we are taking your taste buds abroad, all the way to Germany, with our delicious, traditional, German Hotdog.
With all the ingredients you’d expect, Bratwurst sausage grilled to perfection, sauerkraut and mustard, served on a hotdog roll, you will definitely feel like you’re on holiday when tucking into one of these.

Grafton, it didn’t go unnoticed that you all loved our Eggs Benny Burger Special, so much so that we are thrilled to let you all know that this Breakfast Beauty has been added to our menu for good!
