We’ve transformed the classic chewy rice balls into charming little characters. Each bite-sized "friend" is stuffed with a rich, silky mung bean paste. We’re sharing some tough news today: our shop was broken into last night. While we are saddened by the incident, we are incredibly grateful that no one was hurt.
The police are currently assisting us, and we are working hard to get everything back in tip-top shape.

We are still open today from 5pm as we need sometimes to clean this mess up.

I WAS ONCE A HOME-COOK, I AM NOW A NATIONALLY RECOGNISED FINALIST.
Nine months ago, if you had told me I’d be standing among the best small businesses in Australia, I probably would have laughed in disbelief.
Leaving a 17-year career in healthcare to open Viet Vibes Eatery was the scariest thing I’ve ever done. I had almost no experience in the food industry - just a deep, aching love for my home country, Vietnam, and a dream to share it with you.
There have been days where I didn't want to get out of bed. Days where staff shortages, personal struggles, and exhaustion made me want to hide in the storeroom. But in those moments, I think of why I started. I left Vietnam as a teenager, but my heart stayed there with my parents and sister. My way of staying connected - and my way of showing you the beauty of my Vietnam - is through the food I put in front of you, cooked with genuine love and passion.
Two weeks ago, seeing the email confirming we are a Finalist for the 2026 Australian Small Business Champion Award brought me to tears (and honestly I do not cry very often). I’ve kept it quiet until I could hold this certificate in my hands, and now that I am, I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude.
To my always-100%-supportive partner (my rock), my family, my hardworking staff, and every single person who has walked through our doors in Shailer Park: THANK YOU! You’ve turned my "scary dream" into a beautiful reality.
