Just a quick heads up…

Unfortunately I lost access to this page after my personal Facebook account was permanently disabled, and despite trying everything, I haven’t been able to get it back.

☕ We’re Hiring | Experienced Barista ☕

We’re looking for an experienced barista to join our team at the 1770 Rusty Pelican.

This role is much more than making great coffee. On quieter days, you won’t be stuck behind the machine. We’re a small, family run business where everyone pitches in, so you’ll also help with front of house, the bar and some basic food preparation.

We’re looking for someone who:
• Has solid barista experience
• Enjoys providing great customer service
• Is happy to work across different areas of the business
• Can multitask in a busy environment
• Has a positive attitude and works well in a team
• Holds an RSA or is willing to obtain one

If you enjoy variety, like working with a great team and don’t mind getting your hands dirty wherever needed, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re on the lookout for a couple of awesome people to join our little family by the water.

☕ Experienced Barista
You’ll need to be confident making great coffee while helping across all areas of front of house, including customer service, the bar and basic food handling. If you thrive in a fast paced environment and love working as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you.

🐣 Junior Team Members
After school and weekend shifts available. No experience necessary. We’re looking for friendly, reliable juniors with a great attitude and a willingness to learn.

At the Rusty Pelican everyone pitches in, so if you’re motivated, enjoy keeping busy and love making customers smile, we’d love to hear from you.

RSA and Food Handlers Certificate preferred where applicable, or a willingness to obtain them.

We’re on the lookout for a new pelican to join the crew. 🐚

We’re chasing someone with an RSA, with the main role in the bar. Like everything here though, you’ll be jumping in wherever needed.

This is an all rounder position.
Bar, service, food prep, helping the team flow.

We’re a small, fast paced, family run spot by the water. We need someone who works well in a team, can take direction, uses initiative, and is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved.

Experience is great, but attitude is everything.

Bonus points if you can make coffee and hold a Food Handlers Certificate.

Must be available weekdays, afternoons, nights, weekends, and during busy periods.

Pelican RnR 🐚

We’ll be taking a little break from Friday 24 April through to Tuesday 28 April.

A few days to be with family, remember some special people, celebrate a couple of birthdays and welcome a brand new (and very hairy) Pelican crew member into the flock 🐾

We’ll be back Wednesday, refreshed and ready to go.
