A quick warm welcome to my new followers 💝Welcome to Sophia’s Greek Kitchen where an evolution of food ideas hits the cabinet every day - On this page I beckon you to contribute your ideas and to enjoy in the co-creative process of my community based business - I was born in Closeburn and so Sophia’s Greek Kitchen is my way of giving back to the community that I know and love so well - my promise is to keep it artful , fun , creative , fresh and yes … no wait - you are welcome to dine in the courtyard , take your food home , sit in the park , whatever suits - or just come in for a chat and a coffee - I’ll be serving all your favorite Greek treats and playing a little Opera ( or whatever the playlist ) depending on the mood of the day xx see you all soon Love Sophia 💝💝

Well it’s been almost 12 weeks since I bought the Snack Bar ! What an amazing journey so far ! Lots of recipe tweaks , revisiting the perfect opening hours and days , more burns than I can count and lots of happy beautiful people sharing the journey with me ! It’s been a while since I’ve posted - here are a few snacks I’ve been making - a quick shout out that we do still do burgers and chips and we are now making Yiros and other delicious tummy filling treats - heads up too that I finally got a new coffee machine - it might take me a day or so to get my head around how to set it up but I know some of you are hankering for a quick cuppa and now I can actually make you one ( and myself to keep the energy flowing) hope to see you soon xx love Sophia 🥰

Some of the Chefs Choice Lunch I had going today - it all sold out so I’m guessing you all liked it xx Starting this week and at last ‘Yiros’ - your choice of grilled marinated Chicken / Haloumi or Lamb Kofta in a soft Pita with Salad, Tzatziki and your choice of sauces - bbq / chilli / hommus / tahini and lemon - great with chips 😉 photos to come 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
