The Wicked Virgin

The Wicked Virgin The Wicked Virgin is a family operated vineyard and olive grove offering wine, olive oils, olive products as well as serving light lunches, coffees and cake.

There is also a beautiful villa which can be booked for short stays. The Wicked Virgin is a small family vineyard and olive grove established by John and Laurel Nowacki in 1999. Situated down a sweeping hill towards Rutherglen, The Wicked Virgin invites visitors to share John and Laurel's passion for good food created from fresh produce, complemented by their excellent Wicked Virgin Extra Virgin Olive Oil and boutique Calico Town Wines.

Hello Everyone,
My Facebook access has been DOWN since about June...so this is my first try to inform you about anything.
The silver lining with all this Covid business is that most of my cupboards are tidy and the garden is looking pretty s***k and span!!
We will be back in action from this Saturday (closed Monday Tuesday and Wednesday).
Because there are strict limits to "indoors" numbers (10) and about 50 outside, it is important to book. First 10 can scamper indoors if the weather goes haywire...
Well we'll see what happens from here!!

Well Folks !! We will be open from this weekend. Closed Tuesday & Wednesday... but normal times otherwise.
Please phone and check the booking situation because there are restrictions about the number of people we are allowed to seat... Wine tasting is counted, because "seated" wine tasting seems to be the rule.

Thanks for the food feedback ! Even photographs!! I am wondering about the wine glasses, flowers, candles and cutlery.
