Itβs been one whole month since opening Hungry Jyms, and honestly, I still have to pinch myself when I see how far weβve come.
This idea was six years in the making. There were countless trials and errors, sleepless nights, setbacks, doubts, and rejections along the way. But weβre here now.
Hungry Jyms was built with no handouts and no backing, just a kid with a dream to serve healthy, fresh food and create a concept that helps people better understand nutrition and its importance.
I always knew that once you start a business, you truly understand what needs to be done. Over the past month, Iβve been completely immersed in the business, finding flaws, fixing them, improving processes, adapting, and learning every single day.
Thatβs a big reason why I havenβt focused much on promotions or collaborations yet. My priority has been building strong foundations and making sure we get things right. And honestly, I couldnβt be prouder of how far weβve come in such a short time.
Every day weβre improving. Every day weβre learning. Every day weβre getting better.
Is business everything I imagined it would be? Absolutely.
Is it hard? Absolutely.
But I get to wake up every morning and go to my business. Iβm not waking up to go to work, Iβm waking up to build something I believe in. No matter how physically exhausted I am, that alone gives me peace.
I also want to give a huge thank you to RHTC for giving us the opportunity to open at the centre. After all the setbacks we faced, they gave us a chance when we needed it most, and for that Iβll always be grateful.
Weβre only getting started. I canβt wait to continue growing this community and building something that genuinely helps change peopleβs lives.
