HEAT 1 of BATTLE OF THE BANDS 🎸🎸

Get down to the Soundbar on Friday 5th June as we kick off Heat 1 of our annual Battle of the Bands Competition. Sign Up’s are still open but get in quick as spots are running out!

Here’s the line up:
band is a punk/indie rock foursome bringing the riot grrrl movement of the 90s into the 21st century. The band dives into politics, gender, sexuality and life as a fem-presenting person.

What started as 3 country bumpkins making noise in Trentham somehow became Roller Toaster. Now they're bringing their blend of energetic punk rock, small-town humour, and barely contained choas to any stage that will have them.

is a garage rock band based from west melbourne made from high school friends kavin, aiden and isaac. blending catchy riffs, with lyrics and melodies adjacent to bands like the arctic monkeys and royal blood, akira aims to bring energy and garage rock vibes back to the stage!

are a rock/metal band from West Melbourne. Taking influence from Rage Against the Machine, Third Eye Blind and Limp Bizkit, the band mixes heavy riffs, alternative rock and metal with a raw live sound. Rats on Steroids have built a reputation for loud, high-energy
performances and bring their own style into every set they play around Melbourne’s local music scene.

Here’s the line up for Heat 4 of Battle of the Bands taking place on Friday June 26th:

rock while the audience rolls. Bending to the will of their electric tunes, this band is ready and set to get you dancing.
band are an experimental punk/riot grrrl band from Frankston, Victoria. They blend alternate tunings, fretless bass and yelling into strange and confusing noise.

Forged in the fires of Melbournes south east, this 5 piece rock band blends hard rock, metal, and funk with energetic groovy riffs; so nice that you will be grinning while your face is melting- , groovy by name, groovy by nature.

Hailing from melbournes eastern suburbs, is a 3 piece punk rock band featuring classic punk / grunge motifs with a hint of noise rock and hardcore attitudes. A very loud and very angry fish band.
