Crafting in the kitchen, developing an in-house hot sauce with Habenaro, orange, mandarin, lime and a beautiful spice mix. I love the cute little bottle with the handle, in keeping with the gourmet standard of SoJo Delicious. What do you think?

Markets are a wonderful way to connect with community and I love the interaction over food and laughter. A little more menu experimenting in the SoJo kitchen… 🌵🥭

You may have noticed a few different dishes appearing amongst the biscuits and chilli jams lately — nachos, Hibiscus Jamaica and now these gorgeous Brown Sugar Meringues with whipped cream, fresh mango & lime.

I’ve been cooking, tasting and playing with some of the foods that could become part of the next chapter for SoJo Delicious – Gourmet & Street.

Some will make the menu. Some may not. But that’s half the fun of creating it. ❤️

These brown sugar meringues, though… crisp on the outside, soft and chewy inside, piled with cream, juicy mango and a squeeze of fresh lime.

I think they might have earned themselves a place. 😋

Nachos for dinner, SoJo Delicious salsa and a beautiful mix of ingredients! We will be progressing to street food in the coming months so keep an eye out for notifications. Of course, we will maintain our award winning chilli jams and gourmet biscuits, pretzels and cinnamon scrolls.

Agua de Jamaica made on dried Hibiscus flowers with fresh lime juice, sugar and water. It’s refreshingly tart and not too sweet. I will admit AI for the background, but it is my jug and my steeped tea with ice. Very nice. A wonderful drink for the spring and summer months and this gorgeous colour!

Thank you to Roma Creative Markets for managing the markets today, and thank you Leander for supporting all the stall holders. It was a wonderful market with lots of stall holders there and a seamless event.
