Tomorrow is a special day for us at Rockhampton parkrun, as we will be celebrating our 500th parkrun event in the beautiful Rockhampton Botanic Gardens.

Apart from our 500th event tomorrow, we also have numerous participants celebrating their Milestones as well, so it should be a huge celebration all round.

The optional dress up there is wear something blue, as that is the official colour of parkrun 500 milestone gear.

Rockhampton Zoo's Easter egg hunt starts this Wednesday! 🐰

There will be 10 cardboard eggs hidden around or inside the animal enclosures at the zoo 🔎

Collect your entry form on the deck at the zoo entrance and have fun looking for the hidden eggs 🐣

Competition runs from 1st – 7th April.

One lucky winner will receive a Meerkat encounter for 4 people (valued at $300), chocolate Easter eggs and a $10 gift voucher donated by Gardens Tearooms.

We also have 2nd and 3rd prizes in the form of $30 and $20 gift vouchers donated by the Gardens Tearooms (& Gift Shop) and Easter eggs.
