A little introduction from us 👋

We’re Jack & Tayla, the faces behind ARDO.

After more than 15 years working in hospitality in Robe, and the last 8 years owning and running the Union Café, we’re incredibly excited to be starting this next chapter together.

ARDO has been a big project for us and something we’ve poured a lot into over the past few months. We can’t wait to finally open the doors, welcome you in and show you what we’ve been working on.

Big day for Sails 🤍

Today we say goodbye to Adam, Anna, Mani, Mali & Rosie as they head off to Port Douglas. What you’ve built here over the years is something truly special. Sails isn’t just a venue, it’s been a big part of the Robe community, and that comes down to the work, care and consistency you’ve all put into it. You should be incredibly proud.

We wish you all the very best for what’s next, Port Douglas is lucky to have you.

As most of you know already Tayla and Paige and I have taken over Sails a month ago and we’re genuinely excited for this next chapter. There’s a lot we want to build on and plenty of fresh ideas to come, but at the heart of it, our focus is simple, to respect what’s been created here and continue delivering the quality and experience people know and love and build in that.

We’re looking forward to what’s ahead and can’t wait to welcome you all in. 🍷
